The location

The room was not cleaned properly. The bedsheets and the quilt covers were not changed. There was hair of previous user all over the sheets. When i asked the staff to change they argued. N when they changed the quilt covers there were blood stains of periods of users before. They said these can’t be washed. The pillows were so dirty inside that they could hv just been thrown away. Their was no care od keeping the corridor clean. Overall it was a total nightmare. If I was offered this hotel again for free I would still not stay there. There were insects n a small mouse in our room. Worms were in my clothes and bags. Wonder how u can run a hotel like that

Our overall experience was terrible from OYO side and Hotel side. We booked the hotel about a month before our trip and even paid partially because an email was sent by the property asking us to pay to confirm the booking. We called the number listed on the property to make sure our booking is confirmed and they said yes. On the day of booking, we called at 6pm to let them know that we will doing a late check-in due to traffic. Due to Kumbha Mela police blockades, we couldn't reach the hotel directly and went really late to the property (using a e-rickshaw) but since we called ahead, we thought it shouldn't be a problem. But when we reached the property, we were told that they didn't have any rooms for us and they were sold out since 12pm!!! When we told the hotel manager about our call at 6pm, they asked us to call the number listed on the booking, which is a OYO number, and speak to them. The guy on the call still said we had a confirmed booking, which is when we realised that they were not actually checking with the property at all!! He couldn't find us any other accommodation since it was late in the night and all places were sold out. We had to take another e-rickshaw back to our car and our family of 6, ended up sleeping in the car for the night and the next day, we changed our plans.

They didn’t let us check in. They had sold their rooms that we had reserved to someone else, just for money. It was very disappointing. They said they don’t believe in booking.com .

Their selfish behaviour and greed.

The staff was very polite and extremely helpful. The room was big enough and they were very compliant with the request of extra mattress.

Bathroom cleanliness could have been better

Room and facilities were basic. Yes there were mosquitos but upon asking, they promptly provided us the repellent. upon asking they also provided up hot water kettle and towels. Bathroom was clean. You will find direct auto to Lanka(1km) for rs 10. From there to Godowlia chowk is Rs 30 per head. Ramnagar and BHU are not far away Rs 10 sharing. It's ok for a person who doesn't want to stay directly inside the noisy city bazaar.

The property could be cleaner. Also the surroundings. The rooms will be cleaned only if you ask for it. It provides you just the basic bath and bed. We paid 1500 per day for 3 days stay, I guess this is what you get these days for the amount of money. Did not have much expectations.

Nothing except location.

Wifi, bathroom water systems, geyser, room doors, looking glass, chair for sitting, cleanliness, etc.
