The chocolate factory house is super comfortable and very clean. It was a great refuge out of busy Kandy. Sami was extremely helpful and the Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious.

"A mountain gateway"

Very elegant apartment located in a quiet area uphill. A fabulous view from the terrace gives a unique experience - early morning sunrise with birds singing, and amazing sunsets. A great escape from coastal heat and moisture, the mountain climate is a blessing. Saminda - host of the apartment - is very friendly and responsive, he helped us to find a ride even on New Year's days. A nice breakfast is also possible here. Definitely recommend!

A twin bed was a bit narrow, but still comfortable. It was not a big issue.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was a very comfortable property and we enjoyed being able to do some self catering. Rooms are clean and cozy. There is a water purifier there so you can reduce waste and buy less bottled water. Owner was very friendly and brought us tea and cake when we arrived.

What an amazing place! A beautiful apartment with all the modern conveniences - even a washing machine, which was most welcome after a week of travelling! The highlight was the breathtaking view from the balcony. Sami was a kind and generous host - he collected us from the bus station on arrival which was much appreciated. Hope to return!

Everything was perfect. The location is about 15-20 minutes by tuktuk from Kandy, and the balcony is amazing. Everything is clean, the beds and bathroom are very nice

That we didn't stay more :)

We really loved the terrace with the beautiful view to relax and have breakfast, everything was super clean and comfy beds. There was great storage space and the washing machine was super handy.

The pressure of the shower on the lower floor could be adjusted, everything else was just perfect!

"Beautiful and peaceful"

This home is beautiful and spacious. The pictures don’t do it justice! It is very well maintained, clean and comfortable. It has all the faculties you could need and it was handy to be able to use the washing machine. It is away from the centre of Kandy so it is lovely and quiet. It is on a very steep mountain though so you need to get tuktuks to/from places but this was no bother. We had delicious Sri Lankan breakfasts provided by Sami with very generous portions!
