Crossways Cottage Quirky 2 bedroom cottage in Damdale, Central Peebles

The host responded to the questions promptly even before the stay, and was very accomondating. The place is clean and as described. It is located very close to downtown Peebles (about 5 minutes walk).

The cottage was clean and cozy. The location is very central and convenient. It was easy to keep in touch with the owner about minor issues.

The heating ended up not coming on but it wasn’t really an issue for us.

A great value, clean and well set up two bedroom cottage in Peebles ideal for local golfing and cycling activities.

Oven trays had been used and needed a wee clean.

lock box was easy to use, front door was a bit quirky to lock, but we figured it out after a few minutes of fiddling with it,

This is a very nice little place with three exceptions: 1: beds are very low to the ground and very hard... so hard we had to use backpacking air pads to make the beds tolerable and they need to be raised up off the floor at least 12" HIGHER. The other thing was that there were no instructions left for using the shower (had to flip a switch in the kitchen, took a while to figure it all out. We liked the place and if the bed situation were fixed, we'd give it an excellent rating

A very nice quirky little property very close to town centre.

Bed was a bit too low for us older people and the bed settee in living room was a bit uncomfortable. The heating was a problem to control. It kept coming on in the night. We were up and down trying to put it off
