The Meeker Park Lodge

Die Lage, der Rocky Mountain National Park ist gut erreichbar.

Die Hütte war ungepflegt und nicht sauber. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist mangelhaft, die Töpfe waren unbrauchbar. Die Fliegenfenster waren undicht.

It was fun staying in an historic inn.I enjoyed the mid century en suite bathroom. The staff immediately responded to any request for help.The new owner offers square dancing twice a month and is on a path to cater to guests as well as the local community.

The stairs are outside and could use some attention. In addition to rebuilding the existing stairs, I would have liked railings on both sides, top to bottom. I was looking forward to an evening in the lobby, however, the lobby closes at 6 pm. There was no breakfast, but a cafe in town serves delicious food.

There was no breakfast, so o can’t rate you on that. Bed was not comfortable, shower, bathroom outside of room had to share. Not happy about that. The view was nice. That’s the only thing we liked.

The location

I booked a room with two queen-size beds but received two small single beds that could barely fit a teenager. There was no soap or shampoo provided, and the room is located right on the road, so we were disturbed by traffic noise and headlights all night. The staff were nice.

Sehr idyllisch mitten im Wald ohne Mobilfunk Empfang, was sehr entspannend war. Auch sehr nahe zu den Rocky Mountains.

Konnten die Türe leider nicht abschließen - aber war nicht wichtig da wir eh mitten im Wald waren.

La connexion Wifi efficace

Pas de personnel à l'arrivée, pas de personnel au départ. Lit trop court, vieux matelas et coussins. super si vous mesurez moins d'1m60. Établissement vétuste, extrêmement bruyant, mal isolé. Des crasses sous les lits. Un espace ridiculement petit pour un prix vraiment exagéré. Je suis très déçu de cet établissement.

Comfortable. Quiet. Clean. Private. And lots of morning wildlife!

Our only complaint is this...We checked in during the designated time, unpacked, and went about our day. When we got back, 2 of the 3 of us really wanted to shower, but it was at this point we discovered that only ONE bath towel had been provided to us (we checked the entire cabin, everywhere). Be warned that there is no cell service at all, and wifi is only in the Lodge...not the end of the world until you need to contact management. They do provide a number to call after 6pm, but the lodge is locked, and you cannot connect to wifi enough to call them outside. Needless to say, we were unable to shower, and were leaving before the desk opened the next morning. SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED BEFORE 6pm. Also, bring adapters for anything that uses a 3-prong. My husband was unable to get a good sleep without his CPAP machine.
