The Meeker Park Lodge

C'est le plus bel hébergement où j'ai dormi de toute ma vie !!! Une msgnifique cabane en bois.... dans les bois !!!!

Absolument rien !!!

Outside of the tourist areas

The main lodge was only open from 9 am to 6 pm. That was the only place to connect to the Wi-Fi. This is a rustic property, and you can see through the walls to the outside. There are no doors on the individual cabin bedrooms. The beds were not comfortable. A mouse got into a sealed bag of cookies on the kitchen counter. Be aware that local eateries often close on slow days. The only place to eat is 30 30-minute drive back to Estes Park.

Nice and quiet location, friendly people, the grocery store, 2 big terraces. But the bed is a bit too soft for me.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They answered questions I had about things to do and places to visit during my stay! The room was clean, and the staff was very mindful of making the room comfortable! Anyone looking to stay at the Meeker Lodge needs to take into consideration that this is a rustic and historical log building. The amenities are basic! If a person wants to have a stay that has modern amenities (TV in room, Shampoo and Conditioner provided, fridge in the room, hair dryer, fancy furnishings, private bathroom) then pay the incredibly overpriced rates at a fancy place in Estes Park. The description given on Booking.com was accurate!

A woman came in complaining to staff that their cabin did not have shampoo, conditioner, and a hair dryer. She was rude, abusive to staff, and demanded a full refund AFTER staying in the cabin. She was totally out of line. Meeker Lodge and Cabins are perfectly honest about the historical and rustic nature of the accommodations, so if fancy is your thing please make reservations somewhere else. These people work hard to take care of guests!!! It was difficult to see staff treated in that manner. But, they handled it with grace and kindness....SUPER people!!

It is beautiful, looks to be family run, the young lady who helped us was very sweet. Internet works great thankfully.

No phone service, no phone tv or alarm clock in the room. Beds were a little stiff.

Le cadre est rustique, le bois craque sous les pieds, l'établissement est bien décoré et a un charme fou. Il y a une petite épicerie qui jouxte l'hôtel qui permet de s'acheter un repas rapide au micro-onde (il n'y a pas de restaurant à proximité).

Il manque d'un frigo dans la chambre, de prise, de sèche-cheveux. Je n'aurais pas osé me servir du chauffage si on en avait eu besoin. Vétuste, j'aurais eu peur de mettre le feu.
