The Crown Smallburgh

Location was perfect, 10 Min car journey to the beach. Pub Garden was well kept with plenty of seating and kids play area was well equipped. Crystal was polite, welcoming and very approachable. Didn't eat however food looked and smelt lovely.

Bath was under the roof pitch so could stand straight to have a shower, then half way through the shower completely stopped and couldn't get more than a dripple from it again. Bedframe is very squeaky and woke me up every time i turned over. Furniture hadn't been cleaned behind - thick layer of dust behind the chest of draws

No hot breakfast on a weekday

Very friendly staff, easy to park. Room was small and compact beds a bit soft for us but could not complain for the price considering the area and late booking. Great breakfast included.

Stairs up to room was a little steep for me as just had both knees replaced so struggled a bit. Room was very small but ok for a overnight stay, would want bigger if staying longer. There was a rope ladder attached to the window cill in case of fire but to be honest I don't think i would have fitted out the window lol.

A lovely little thatched pub, room was very well equipped and bed was really comfortable. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, food was excellent. It’s in a great location for getting out and about exploring, and our little dog was made to feel so welcome as well. We will definitely be back.

Breakfast and dinner were fabulous!

Made extremely welcome, quiet and well presented. Would recommend for short stay
