"Was a convenient location for my travelling requirements; staff were very friendly and helpful."

7.0

The evening meal was extremely tasty; breakfast was a bit basic, but was advertised as continental, so wasn't expecting too much.

Rooms were cold when I arrived and took some time to heat up - thermostat at maximum in both rooms - but once heated were very comfortable. There was no hot water for the sink in the bathroom - had to use the kettle to get hot water - other than that it was clean and well stocked.

"Will never stay there again."

1.0

The food was good.

The accommodation was dreadful. Twin beds with barely any room for two people to move around. Bathroom sink blocked, we informed staff who said they knew about it but did not do anything for the remainder of our stay. Toilet flush was poor, had to flush twice. Road noise was unbearable even with windows closed. General cleanliness was very poor.

"Over all we had a nice time"

8.0

The Crown is ideally situated within easy reach of Coastline attractions from Wells Next the Sea to Cromer and Wroxham where we took a two hour cruise on the Broads all well worth a visit. We also visited Brinkling Hall well worth a visit if you get the chance. On our last evening we had dinner at the hotel. The food was excellent and reasonably priced.

Sorry to say the pillows they were a little flat for us so it would have been nice to have had extra pillows in the room or bed cushions. The most disappointing was breakfast which got changed after booking from full English to continental, which consisted of white/brown bread for toast, breakfast cakes grapes apples selection of fruit juices and cereals tea coffee. So we ended up paying £5 for a piece of toast as tea and coffee came with the room. Would have been nice to see fresh croissants, ham, cheese. Not very well presented, having your breakfast made and served us part of the holiday so we were disappointed. We were offered a discount in the form if a voucher to be spent in the bar or restaurant not really very fair as we could of eaten breakfast elsewhere had we been refunded fully. When we come to dine in the restaurant we were given the bill but no voucher of £30, so we had the embarrassment of having to ask for it which seemed to a bit of an issue but accepted
