Cute and Cosy Little Cottage

Perfect little cottage, self contained with off road parking and an enclosed garden.

Though small the annex was cozy and arranged well. The log burner was cute, free WiFi and everything we needed was there. Our bed was comfy and there was blankets, board games and books to keep us snug and entertained.

The beds were short, and the bed under the slanted roof was hard to get to for us. There was plenty of logs for the log burner but little-no fire starters or kindling which made starting a fire Challenging so we bought our own. The annex was clean everywhere though our bedding had a dog paw print on the sheet. The bedding smelt clean and there was no hairs, so we was happy sleeping in them, but felt more care should have been taken to have this removed. We also struggled to find the parking bay on the other side of the road.

Lots of drafts where the windows and door hadn’t been finished with mastic the window sill in the dining room hasn’t been fixed in I lent on it to look out the window and it flipped up quite hazardous really the log burner hadn’t been cleaned out and was rammed with ash I know you leave a inch of ash in the bottom but it was coming through the grate there were no fire lighters or matches to start the fire we purchased them ourselves The cottage was dirty a large pile of dog hair under the sofa dirty glasses and the tea towel smelt

For a small space it was cleverly designed with some unusual design features. Comfortable bed and I slept well. There's an enclosed garden space for finer weather and plenty of logs for the log burner.

No hot water faucet in the bathroom basin. I found the steep stair ladder tricky and there are some low ceiling areas upstairs.
