Not easy to find, name of another hotel high up the wall. Go2 hotel covered by a hedge from the road. Very confusing. Outdated furniture. No little lamp, just one light on ceiling.
GBGBVery friendly staff, extremely welcoming and helpful. Although the property is a bit tired, it is clean. If you’re looking for clean, basic and reasonably priced i would recommend. The location is perfect and the pub down the road was fantastic.

The hotel room was filthy, the toilet seat was broken, the light switches by the bed didn’t work, there were no sockets / charging point on one side of the bed, stains on the wall, dirty cups for tea, filthy bathroom and shower, uncomfortable bed with sheets that were too small so didn’t cover the mattress, the list goes on. To top it all, the door to the room was so badly fitted the light from the hall shone in so it was like sleeping with the light on. Absolutely disgusting and the worst place I have ever stayed. We booked a delux room - what a joke!

This hotel very much falls in the 'context of stay'. For me, I'm travelling by myself and just needed a bed for the night as a stop over. Literally in the room 10pm-8am. They provided this and this is the only reason I have given 3 stars. It basically did what it said. Observations: The reception staff were friendly enough. They advised me that they were fully booked tonight. They offered me "free parking" because there was "an issue with the TV in the room". However, there wasn't any parking spaces anyway so I parked on the adjacent street. Judging from previous reviews I took this a bit skeptically so I still registered my registration. I'll keep an eye out for any parking tickets heading my way! The rooms are extremely basic but, as I said, I was only there for sleeping, so was fine. I wouldn't bring my children here. The cleanliness wasn't great. Stains on the carpets. Marks on the wall. Although there is adequate tea/coffee making options. The room was extremely hot, no air con, but there was a fan which helped. It wasn't too noisy considering they were at capacity. In summary, not terrible but not great. It served its purpose but I wouldn't want to spend any length of time here.

The corridor areas are tired and due a refurb, ..but i only spent one night so it didn't bother me
GBGBThe hotel was in a very good location with plenty of nearby pubs and restaurants to eat at. It was also near to shops and retail outlets. The hotel was clean and very reasonable priced. The staff were very helpful and friendly too.
There wasn't anything I didn't like about the hotel. It was a pleasant stay. I would stay there again.I Will be recommending to friends and family, for future visits.
