The architects' house

The apartment was great - authentic, clean, there's everything you might need for a short stay. It's situated in the heart of Gamla Stan, so we could reach everything we wanted there easily.

The windows to our apartment turn to the busy street of Gamla Stan and there's the bar on that street, so for a light sleeper like me, it was quite noisy. It would have been great to know that one might need the earplugs. And the apartment was relatively cold...

If you’re tall, be careful with the doors, some of them are low and you might hit your head.

Location near my daughter’s student accommodation. Beautiful apartment. Fresh. New. Clean.

Staying this house was one of the highlights of our stay in Sweden. It is in an extremely great location in the centre of the Old Town. You have to be prepared that there is lots of hustle and bustle outside at all hours, we were comfortable with it. The design is wonderfully evocative and relaxing.

As Brits, we missed a kettle for tea, but we made good use of the pour-over coffee pot as an alternative. You need to be mobile and steady on your feet to use the staircase.

This historical apartment is very spacious and the location is amazing.

The staircase up to the apartment is steep. Something to keep in mind if you have heavy/bulky suitcases.
