The Bristol Hotel Campbell San Jose

We arrived late but were met at reception with a welcome smile. We were offered a room overlooking the road or a quiet room - chose quiet. Faced a wall (No view). There was a lot of noise from something behind the wall at 4am for 1hour, then at 6am for another hour. Booked breakfast but too full to partake( our fault). Big room, nice hotel,

Central , clean , spacious

The Bristol was a delightful surprise. It is in a convenient location to business I was conducting. I wasn't expecting the deluxe European/Italianate Palazzo decor. If I lived in the area, this would be my romantic anniversary, Valentines Day, birthday place. It is simply exquisite for a reasonable price.

Breakfast was what every free with room motel hotel offers. HOWEVER, grab the bakery quality muffins and two cups of coffee and surprise your sweetheart in bed. Then go out for a fancier brunch 😋 This place is a must do.

Central location, close to freeway, unique decor. Great breakfast and free. They even had scrambled eggs.

The toilet was probably 10 inches above tue floor. As you can see from the photo, the toilet paper is almost aligned with the height of the toilet seat off the floor. I had to use the door to the restroom to pull myself off the toilet. I had a very difficult time getting off such a extremely low toilet. The first night was peaceful. My final night before my flight was absolutely horrible. The people in the room to the right of mine starting around 10 pm were making all kind of extremely loud noises (conversations, pounding, moving furniture sounds, and loud tv) ending around 3 am when someone knocked on their door. There was a loud back and forth muffled conversation some yelling and then around 10 minutes later it was quiet. My alarm was set for 5 am to return my rental car. I essentially had 2 hours of sleep.
