Lovely pub accommodation. The room was large, the beds comfy, everything was clean. And the full English breakfast was delicious.

Liked everything. Though beautiful roll top bath and no plug. A minor thing!

"Great price and location with amazing staff."

Lovely pub/restaurant in a great little village. Staff were very accommodating and the room was very clean and comfortable. Free parking available on site and very good price considering others near by. The room had some lovely original features and four poster bed.

The shower wasn’t great just needs a bigger head and the bathroom perhaps could do with a bit of TLC.. and although common would have been nice not to have to preorder breakfast when your having drinks the night before not knowing if you’d make it.

The hotel was in the perfect location for the purpose of our stay.

No hot water in the room so couldn’t have a shower. Stair carpet was very dirty. Staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing when we asked a question.

Local for my needs

Narrow, winding staircase to carry suitcases upstairs. No comfortable seat, rickety foot stall. Shower head fell apart first night so couldn’t shower properly. Clearly a previous makeshift repair had failed miserably. I reported the problem and a new shower head and hose were installed the same day, but…..😠

"Convenient place to stay for a night"

Food in the restaurant/bar was excellent. Tea and coffee making in the room. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The bathroom was clean and the bed comfortable. The building is from 1492 - really historic place.

We asked for a quiet room and were given a lovely room but it was over the bar and very noisy. When I asked for another room we were given a room away from the bar, which was quiet. The standard of the room was not great... windows were dirty, curtains were very light, dressing table drawer was broken, the mirror on the dressing table was so low I had to kneel on the floor to use the hairdryer!
