Breakfast was okay

The pool area was very slippery when wet. It needs faux lawn or a different stone/ tile around for safety Hand rails along the pool steps would also be advisable for safety

The property location is very good.

Food is average. After a long drive, we were excited when we entered the property the same turned into a nightmare as we went to bed. Around 10.30 in the night we experienced lots of itching on our body. After we switched on the light, we were alarmed to see 20-30 bed bugs on the bed:( they had already bitten us so much that when we killed few of them, there were blood stains on the bed sheet. At 11.00 we called the room service and showed them the mess. When we requested for room change he said the resort is full. We requested him that at 11.00 in the night we should not be made to look out for different hotels and requested to check if there any alternative in the other property they have in the same premises. Finally, after some discussions they accommodated us in the other property. But the discomfort and the bad experience remained with us…

Excellent weekend getaway on the outskirts of Nasik. The vineyard and wine tasting tour are amazing. The rooms are very comfortable and great food tops it up.

Room conditions are not good. Leak in bathroom, basin, missing glass pane, among a few.. slow room Service

Location is of course very nice. And the size of the rooms is large. Breakfast staff is good, friendly and giving nice service. At the end, when leaving, we met the agricultural manager, who helped us out and understood our problem, thanks again!

The rooms are very outdated, not worth these rates at all! The room we were given had fungus on the walls and lots of noise from the work of making a new wedding hall right next to the room. Very old and outdated furniture, dirty bedsheets and pillowcovers, old hard towels, and a very hard, uncomfortable mattress. After complaining about this we were offered a new room which didn't have the noise and had fresher paint on the walls. But it was same outdated and with the same uncomfortable bed. Again: not worth the high rates at all! Reception is not always staffed and when there is someone, not speaking or understanding English. Wine tasting is complementary they say, but when you've walked all the way over to the other building, it turns it reception should have given a voucher. When asked for transport (taxi or autorickshaw) to a near restaurant or to visit another vineyard in the area, they always call the same very rude and crazy rickshaw driver, who's charging way to much money and drives so crazy you'll end up with a sore back. When we were leaving the resort, the agricultural manager luckily understood the problem and why we didn't want to go with this same rickshaw again and helped us out wonderfully. He's the friendliest person we've met at Soma, maybe Soma can invest in getting same friendly staff for reception and rooms AND invest in cleaning, painting, new furniture, new towels, etc etc and hereby updating the rooms. Enough money comes in with these high rates to do so. All in all, VERY disappointing stay, we had been looking forward so much to a night in Nashik at this resort, in an (we thought) amazing room. I suppose better look for a room at Sula (which was unfortunately fully booked when we were there) or elsewhere.
