Proximity to beautiful beach excellent.apartment clean and comfortable.

Nothing really ,could have done with a toaster but managed without.

The location was amazing, minutes from a beautiful beach, the apartment was very clean and comfortable a good starting point to visit all the nearby places of Kent.

Nothing to dislike we really enjoyed our stay and visit to Botany bay

The location

Unfortunately the day we arrived, the road was blocked due to an influx of people trying to get to the beach so we had to get out of the taxi and walk . We took our shoes off as we entered the property and within minutes our feet were black! The floor was dirty. The property is very cramped , was really not suitable for 2 adults and 2 small children. The WiFi signal was very poor which I demonstrated to John ( the guy who lives in the next room) I had to stand by the kitchen door every time I wanted to use it. The biggest issue was the macerator system, it was very noisy every time the toilet was flushed, the wash basins were very small. Although there are signs everywhere about how delicate the system is ,its not always easy to explain to young children and as a result, a flushable andrex wipe ( which my granddaughters use all the time at home) was put in the toilet, 1 wipe! As a result the toilet and shower flooded . The owner did sort the problem out quickly but we were landed with a bill for over £200, it completely ruined what should have been a lovely family holiday. We decided to leave a day early as we were too worried about using the shower and toilet after. I would like to thank John who was brilliant and helped to clean up and offered as much advise as he could. After reading some of the reviews I can now see there have been issues with the macerator system before but the owner says not. I fully accept that a wipe caused the flood ,we have not used these systems before, therefore I would not recommend families with children to stay here. The facilities were disappointing, local shops were a long walk away , as were bus services.

Ideal location right by the beach. Wonderful peaceful, quiet and calm atmosphere. Clear signs and instructions inside for every need. Incredibly comfortable bed for great sleep. Perfect, relaxing spot to unwind

Too many rules plastered on every wall mattress uncomfortable macerator toilet and drainage system not expected in a house was noisy and made our stay uncomfortable worrying about using the toilet and shower

The location was amazing, steps away from the beautiful Botany Bay.

The host was communicative and friendly, and they explained the stay clearly in advance through Booking.com. The property was clean, and the location was good on a quiet, calm street.

The space felt quite limited, with basically two bedrooms and a small kitchenette and no real area to relax. There were also a lot of signs and rule sheets around the property, which felt repetitive and a bit overwhelming for a one-night stay. The double bed mattress was uncomfortable, and the biggest issue was the temperature, as it was very cold in the evening and overnight. We contacted the host through Booking.com during the stay but did not get a response until several days later, so the issue was not resolved at the time. We were also surprised that there was a thin internal door separating this accommodation from another one, which meant we could hear the other guests and it felt less private than expected.
