Didn’t like anything about it! Vile!

Everything! Disgusting not clean smells of dog as soon as you walk in. Never answer the phone & to top it off walking out of the room was a drugs syringe!!! This place is a drug den!! Owner & residents! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

We were scammed, they told us the hotel was overbooked, needed to look for another hotel to stay for the night. After the refund request they told us that they were awaiting our check-in.

Dirty room, dirty bathroom, dirty bed sheets, dirty carpets and hallway, all garbage, stink, I will never go there again.

The property is quite old and does not work

I can explain how awful this hotel is I’ve taken several videos of it, I’ve put one video on tic tok & it’s hit over 12500 views in the first 48 hours this place was nothing like pictures post on booking.com website. They must of been 20 years old, it stank of dogs urine through hotel guest house the rooms were not fit for purpose, I complained straight away the owner just walked off, I then phone booking.com help line to start a complaint, to be hung up twice, be warned of this place

Be honest, Do not put fake pictures up, that are 20 years old, there’s a load of dumped rubbish in front that been there for years, you took our money & walked off when we complained, one of the long term, “ I use the term loosely guests” told us if you don’t like it you can “ F off “ I’ve added a freeze frame of the bed from our video

They did not accommodated us since they are requesting that we need to pay 30% damaged deposit NoN refundable which initially was not included on their T&C. Weve been contacting Booking but did not get a response at all.

I had a truly lovely stay at Chandos Guest House in Folkestone. It’s a family-run place, and Richard the host was incredibly kind and welcoming. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel at home, which really set the tone for a relaxing stay. The room was cozy, and had everything I needed. The location is great too just a short walk from the train station and close to the town centre, yet nice and quiet in the evenings. You can tell Richard takes pride in what he does, and it reflects in the thoughtful touches and warm atmosphere. I’m really grateful for the care and hospitality. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Folkestone. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly, and affordable place to stay!

Very rarely do I use anything like this kind of location, mostly because it was a bit of an emergency booking........... Yes the price and rating were low and a red flag.......... But simply WOW! Like the other 1 star reviews of here mentioned, to be greeted by the kind of person you'd expect to have been grown in middle earth open the door looking like Rab C Nesbitts English cousin......... The putrid smell of urine and excrement was like a dirty wave of "run away now" as a warning! Threadbare carpets everywhere with the DNA of the thousands of potentially missing humans unalived in this place by Rab was shocking! I was shown to "room 4" and given the key to a door that I don't think even locked anyway and handed a clean towel........... Which was as thin as my hope of leaving in the morning alive and having caught something! The dirty carpeted floor was something else! Fluff from socks or dark hair from some of these missing people, I didn't want to check! The accumulated dust around the mattress frame was 100% able to be sent for carbon dating and in amounts that showed me that it had been untouched for a while!! The draws had a used sink sponge in it and other items that should not be in there! A dusty microwave on the floor, cables that will definitely start a fire soon and a TV that has the volume locked at a level that just about hides your crying overnight, praying to see your loved ones again! All this and had to put up with next room 5 arguing after midnight with another room, pillows from 1855 and a bathroom door that only closed with a slap as the handle ceased to work! I did have a shower as I'd been on the road for 12 hours......... But wondered after if I'd done any permanent damage had been done! If "The Hills Have Eyes" was a B&B........This is it!!! I'm sorry team but this place needs shut down!

Where to start, the smell when the door opened was enough for me to know I made a mistake, the dogs pee on the floor in the hallway, both rooms my colleague and myself had were so rundown. There was an incident between what I believe was the owners around 10pm where upon the shouting and screaming a lady knocked my colleagues door screaming awful things about the owner, This b&b should absolutely be closed down
