The Lodge Gatehouse at Coombe Lodge

No breakfast but location was perfect

No hanging space for clothes

We stayed at the gatehouse lodge as we were attending a wedding at Coombe lodge which was ideal. Very clean and spacious accommodation.

Nice location and quiet despite being so near the road.

Keys for the front door had been left totally unsecured in the outhouse-something I discovered by accident! The outhouse is fully visible from the road so anyone could have let themselves into the house. The place smelled strongly of stale booze and problematic drains-we had to keep it aired constantly. Reported all this and got a ‘thanks for your feedback’ and nothing else. Also tried to make us leave an hour before the agreed departure time and threatened fines if we didn’t. Backed down when I forwarded their original email with previous leaving time. Not great.

Clean and nice space. Very near the Combe Lodge Wedding venue - 5 mins walk.

Quite cold and very overpriced for the quality of the finishes.

Stunning period property, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, well equipped

Had a nespresso coffee machine, but no pods supplied. For the price would expect a few pods to be included

Loved the fact it was secluded and quiet. Nice and spacious too.

No hangers or storage to hang clothing.

The lodge was amazing and had everything we needed the bed was very comfortable and has lovely views of the country side

We liked everything about the apartment and place
