The Lodge Gatehouse at Coombe Lodge

layout was very quirky bed was large and very comfortable modern bathroom great location to get to wedding venue nice that it had small table and chairs to sit outside to enjoy the warm weather

very close to the main road so noisy at times and especially during the night with lights from cars shining in the bedroom as curtains not lined thresholds on the floor was very dirty toilet had a brown mark at bottom of the pan lots of debris under seat cushions on the sofa so had not been cleaned smelt musty and damp no cloth to dry dishes debris outside also as there was a sponge pad on the ground great location to get to Coombe lodge which was why we choose it but was quite awkward to get to nearby pubs with no car as had to walk on busy road be ok if you had a car though

lots of cobwebs particularly around the shower extract and high level lights. Also small electrical shocks from shower controls do to lack of earth bonding on pipes.

Lovely accommodation in nice setting. Car definitely needed to get supplies and evening meal at local pub.

Couldn’t get heating to work easily so not as warm as I would have liked.

location is very nice

cleanliness was poor. cobwebs everywhere ants over the kitchen work top electrics kept tripping, so we left and didn't stay. shower plug was blocked which flooded the bathroom. shower went freezing cold after a couple of minutes. we booked here as it was are wedding anniversary, we got married at combe Lodge 12 years ago cant answer the question on how comfortable were the bed as we didnt stay

Oven not clean, general cleanliness not great, lights kept tripping due to a fault.

Perfect location to attend a wedding at Combe lodge. We had our own driveway which took us up to the main house.

The gatehouse is just off the main road so there is some traffic noise

Lovely lodge. Perfect as we were attending a wedding at Coombe House. Warm, cosy, clean everything you could need. Really enjoyed our stay.
