The Location, all the staff in the breakfast/Lunch/ Dinner area was Amazing . Big Shout out to Alex. And all the staff in House keeping and the Bar. The female front Desk staff that works in the morning is not pleasant.

The Room were ultra Uncomfortable, the Beds are awfully uncomfortable.

The staff was very friendly, by far the best part of this hotel. There are free lounge chairs and umbrella at the beach included in the hotel. Location is great.

There is no wifi in the rooms. The quality of mattress is wildly different between rooms, we asked to switch from our initial room because the beds were terrible. We booked a queen bed, none available, so we got 2 fulls. We slept separately the whole trip because we’re tall people and would not have slept well in a full together. Your sleep quality will depend on your neighbors and what floor your on. We were in level 8 after switching which had very minimal street noise, definitely still club noise, but 2 of the nights our neighbors were playing music so loud we couldn’t hear our movie over their music. The doors to the outside are not sound resistant. We got food poisoning from the buffet on our first night, ruining most of our stay. The food was ok after that, just bad luck on the first night. The all inclusive drinks are very limited, beer, wine, or tequila drinks only. No mojitos, or anything that doesn’t involve tequila. Our last day was not all-inclusive, and staff was noticeably less friendly. Your stay will be very different depending on what color wrist band you have. The adult only pool is for gold wrist bands only, which is not included in all inclusive.

Location!!!! Everything was within steps of the hotel! Amazing staff and clean rooms. I didn't eat all meals at the hotel restaurant as I liked to wander along the Malekon and areas but the breakfasts and meals I did have were fantastic! Great for someone that doesn't want a resort and likes to experience the area as well.

Would have liked a fridge in the room and even a coffee maker for convenience. Had to get a hair drier from front desk as well.

The hotel is outdated, rooms lack warmth and the pools are unattractive to use.

Breakfast on the beach! Outdoor seating area close enough to hear the waves crashing, maybe 50 yards from the water's edge. Good food - omeletttes cooked to order for breakfast were excellent. Fresh fruit and veggies were great. Good coffee. Open bar included with "all-inclusive" package meant big pours of wine, good drinks and beer available from 11 am until 9:30 pm. Super friendly staff, very attentive to your needs.

Wifi only available on main level, and that would seem to be a fairly easy and inexpensive thing for them to fix in the future. There was an old fountain pool that needed renovation, as it had turned into a bit of a bird-bath. It would have been nice to have had coffee available in the lobby for us early risers, as we had to wait until 7:30 am for the restaurant to open to have our first cup in the morning. I heard that there's new ownership within the last year, and it appears they are making improvements, so I hope next year it will be even nicer.
