La Vida Hostel

Great Hostel with awesome upstairs area to chill and eat waffles.

The owner Reed and his Staff Regina were so good for me. Even when my plans changed they were very flexible. The room was good and they have hot shower! They also helped me out with transfer to airport.

Really loved the common area with all the hamocks, such a chill place. The owner and manager were really nice with me and helped me to book my tours. I had a really great time a this place!

The owner is a really nice and helpful person. I would recommand to go there if only for a night.. Not that confortable for a longer stay. Nice rooftop bar.

The hostel opened recently so they are still fixing some things. The room is a little packed with 10 beds and only one bathroom/toilet.

What is there not to like about this place..?! The owner is such a lovely man, just starting up this hostel from the ground off and it is amazing. I felt like home instant. The sleeping area is nice, clean, silent and comfy. But its the atmosphere that Reed creates that i will instantly come back whenever i can✌🏼 So don’t hesitate and book this hostel now✨

the owner reed is such a lovely man. it’s a new hostel for him and he’s doing such an amazing job. he has so many stories to tell and is so interesting to talk to! the roof terrace is my favourite part of the hostel, full of hammocks and super chill + sociable. he also makes great hummus. best of luck to you reed!! ☀️

The common area is great, lots of humocks.

The owner is super nice and friendly, but the woman who run the place didn't smile to any of us even once. When you add all the rules of the place it doesn't feel like home... The place was brand new so very clean, I don't know how it will continue, cause they put 10 people in one small room, with no lockers, shelfs or hungers. They don't give towels or blankets, the sheet to cover is actually the same kind as you put on a matress, no soap in the toilet, and they charge for water and don't allow food from outside - so all in total you get the feeling that they take more than they give...

The host and owner were so kind and helpful, you can tell they really put effort into creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere that brings people together. Beds were comfy and the owner put much intention into having clean water from every faucet (thank you!!). I met great people here and the bike rental was superb. Would suggest for chill vibes and a comfy bed.

The electricity was spotty but out of control of the hostel.
