La Vida Hostel

Lovely hostel, set slightly away from the busier areas so you can relax in peace! My hosts were lovely and very helpful arranging tours and onward travel. Rooftop terrace is the best part. Great area to chill and have some food or drink of an evening.

The owner Reid and his colleague Regina were outstanding hosts. Made to feel very at home right away and super nice roof top terrace where everyone could socialise and meet one another. A really nice hostel and great vibes all round. Cannot recommend enough.

Quiet neighborhood, nice rooftop area and rooms

really nice hostel, has a nice bar on the top floor where you can hang out or sit in a hammock, nice owner and comfortable dorm room with nice bed

Facility is very clean and spacious. Staff are so thoughtful and helpful, they really helped me out when I got into trouble with a travel agency. I really like the atmosphere of the common room on the third floor, I had a lot of fun every night! I'll definitely stay there again when I visit Palawan island!

Good location, great food, great staff, fantastic area upstairs to relax and chill whether your starting your trip or coming to the end, the airport is very near which is very convenient, try Reed’s famous burger you won’t be disappointed, also very good WiFi all in all highly recommend!!!!! 😃

The rooftop is nice

Unfortunately the water wasn’t working in the showers when I came so we were told to all use buckets from the bathroom near the reception, but the water in the bucket was dirty + there was nothing to put our stuffs if we didn’t want them to get wet in the bathroom… This is the first time a hostel is asking me to pay to get a towel (not even a deposit but a real fee). No soap in the toilets, that’s not hygienic. The bathroom (when water is working) is inside the room which is not convenient for noise and privacy (1 bathroom and toilet for 10 beds..). The plug next to my bed was not working. There is no dedicated space for the luggage / no safe for valuable belongings. It looks like the maximum number of beds was put in the room to fill as much space as possible.
