Peaceful views close to Luge

Nice property, overlooking the lake and a meadow. One bedroom was good. Good kitchen. Not far from city centre.

The beds in the second room were soft and no place to hang the clothes in the room. There was one shower and one bathtub attached to one of the rooms. The toilet was common, situated between the two bathing enclosures. There was no latch or hook to close the toilet from inside. This was awkward and inconvenient for two families staying together.

Liked the location and having a little house to ourselves was great! Cosy little place

Wasn’t aware it was a share property but I could have missed that in the add but you do have your own entrance, space and access but on the same block as the main house. This didn’t bother us though we had a great time!

Close proximity to the main attractions

It is close to a 80 kph road and the house vibrates whenever big trucks went by. Furnitures are tired. The pull out bed mattress was thin and not comfortable.

What a comfortable and peaceful home away from home experience. This home was well-located and had everything we needed. Although the hosts live in the front house, I appreciated they were communicative in their info booklet and not intrusive in person. From previous reviews, I expected the road noise, but with windows closed, I heard nothing (just the odd rumble of passing trucks, which I didn't mind). People had also commented on it being not easy to find, so I planned accordingly and just kept my GPS on when we were close so I never missed the turn-in. As an avid reader I loved having a full bookcase to peruse and the toys for the kids was also really convenient. Seriously, there's nothing at all to complain about.

If you're a plus sized person, you might find the towels a bit small (but they have plenty so you never need to worry) and my daughter lamented that she couldn't find a vaccuum cleaner.
