The bedroom was beautiful. The bed was really comfy and overall it was a lovely roomy

On our last evening we finished the night back at our hotel we bought a bottle of red wine which was quite expensive to be given cheap plastic throw away glasses it was after 10 o’clock and we were sat inside so why we couldn’t have proper glasses were ridiculous we were of an average age of 60 so were unlikely of causing any trouble, also we had some gin and tonic’s to which the bartender who clearly wasn’t very happy poured all of the tonic into the plastic pint glass this was totally unacceptable.

Perfect location, very clean and well equipt room. Everything you need for a lovely stay.

Great staff, great bar and entertainment and good quality food available. Good location and outside tables. Comfortable bed.

Toilet seat didnt fit and was loose. Basin tap loose and no plug in basin. Ensuite door didnt close fully. TV remote only worked when behind TV. Towel radiator was too hot to touch, literally!

The staff when around were pleasant.

No food available although alternative breakfast in the cartmel cafe was provided. The property smelled of fish and decay. It needed a good clean. Shower head did not work. I paid for upgrade and got a basic room. I walked on the bedroom floor with bare feet and they were filthy! No loo roll in the ladies.the outside area was also filthy.glasses left from the night before etc.
