2bdroom city center house Perfect for contractors

I liked the location ,the house was clean and exactly the same as the pictures provided. Easy access to house , clear instructions provided and easy communication with the host . The parking is at the front of the house (driveway), very easy parking.

The garden needed cleaning up ,the hoover provided needed to be upgraded as it wasn’t working properly, and there should be a big mirror in both the rooms as it was difficult using the very small mirrors provided.

We had trouble with the boiler; no heating or hot water on arrival. After watching a YouTube video on how to reboot the boiler, we managed to get it working. Got very little response from the owner. The bathroom could do with some TLC, paint peeling, and it is quite mouldy.

The location was excellent. It felt like a spacious apartment. Within walking distance to Five Ways station and also in a quiet residential area. The bedrooms were attractive and the beds were comfortable.

The look of the bathroom could have been improved, eg the tile grouting and window blind. Lack of cutlery in the kitchen - only one teaspoon! And no dish-washing cloth or bowl.

Ideal for Edgbaston for the cricket which was our reason for visiting.. Driveway parking for 1 car which is excellent Very quiet location. Clean, warm (easy to use heating). Great little shop just round the corner for essentials. Good Internet connectivity. The below is constructive criticism, and shouldn't stop people from staying here. We would use this place again 100%

The kitchen isn't equipped enough for 4 people. Not enough knives and forks, only 1 teaspoon, no can opener, no bottle opener, no tea towel. Had to leave our breakfast pots to drip dry as we didnt want to put wet pots back in the cupboard. I'm perhaps a little old fashioned, but I'd have liked a few recommendations for decent local takeaways so a few menus would have been good. The tv was quite jumpy and buffering but when we wiggled the ariel in the back, it improved.

Modern furnishing, great location, quiet, good shower, great WiFi, nice size lounge TV.

Limited kitchen utensils but probably not an issue for contractors as the listing suggests. The property isn’t a house, it’s a flat with no direct access to the garden - again probably not a problem for contractors but as a family with a dog it was a little inconvenient having to put the dog on a lead and walk around the building for toilet time.
