Good location

It wasn't very clean we had to wash all the pots and pans. Under the beds hadn't been hoovered there were children's toys. Under the coffee table was filthy. The skirting boards were full of hair and dust.

Happy with property just could do with few little extras. Bins for bedroom, bath mat to go in bath, very slippy without and the front door window could do with being half covered. The sofa cushions are very soft and make you slide and sink

The location is amazing!! You are left with nice clean towels and a chocolate treat when you arrive, if you like dark chocolate that is, we don’t tbh, but personal preference and a nice touch. The cottage itself is really nice and well equipped, we would certainly return, but there’s a few bits, that I’ll raise below, that would need to change for us to return.

The bed in master bedroom is awful, so uncomfortable, creaky, and the pillow cases just as bad. We left with sore backs and sore necks. The sofa’s are also really uncomfortable, I’d suggest you invest in something new(ish), I have a bad back and therefore struggled to sit on the sofa at all, not great at the evening. The TV only has free view channels and the TV constantly shits down, it’s a very small old TV so again an upgrade would be great, and adding Sky TV would be beneficial, especially if you are visiting with children. There are people constantly walking past the property so you don’t get privacy at all. The bin men turned up at 6am on Friday morning and woke us all, we have 3 young children so not good. The kitchen door window is overlooked by a property opposite and they can see straight through the window at you, so a real lack of privacy at the night time with the lights on, very uncomfortable. Also the window on the front door has no blind neither so again, when someone walks past you can see right through the property, not great.

Stunning! Comfy, clean and homely. Group games were a lovely addition too.
