Trinity Cottage, YORK

Great location. Very nice facility. Convenient parking. Very responsive staff.

The washer/dryer was the only issue- it blew a fuse and I did not think we had it loaded up very much at all.

Central so able to walk to destinations.

Extra payment for parking at the property.

Location because could walk everywhere. Full kitchen with utensils and appliances. Towels. Clean property. Downstairs toilet.

Flickering lights. Oven trays were not clean enough to be used.

The location is perfect. Everywhere in walking distance. It is in the centre but tucked away. You wouldn't even know it was there.

Really lovely cottage in a great location. Facilities all good. Although not used for our stay, was great to have access to pots pans etc as these are usually missing in other holiday homes. Single bed was comfortable. Location was great for going into town. Outdoor courtyard space was perfect for sitting in the sun/letting the dog out for a sniff. Hate can be closed and locked for privacy and pet safety. Complimentary tea and coffee much appreciated, along with the York chocolates! Great selection on the TV. Nice and clean. Very well kept. Bath was amazing! It’s like a swimming pool… never been in one so big. Hot water heated two full baths easily. Really nice treat. Plenty of towels, blankets etc. All in all great property that we would return to.

Some disruption caused by the workmen. We were awoken quite abruptly by them talking and accessing the metal lockers on the second morning. Arthritic family member reported that the large bed in the second bedroom was not very comfortable to sleep on (hard mattress). Property would benefit from a grab rail in the main bathroom for entering and exiting the bath. Note: parking is £10 a day. This is just the driveway to the cottage and I would usually have expected this to be included in the price, especially as it was somewhat tight to get into/out of when another car parks next to yours (eg workmen, person accessing offices). Not a negative, just a note - We could not find the handmade soap mentioned in the handbook...

We loved everything
