Seaview Apartments at Coral Point Sibaya, Umhlanga

It is difficult to say because of the extra deposit of R1000 that I was unaware of. It turned out, it was my fault because that clause is apparently on Booking. Com.

I went to shower and the draining system was not working. When I came out of the shower, the entire floor and bedroom floor was full of water. I had to get a Mop and wipe the floors. I got there extremely tired because I had traveled for 2 days. Having to wipe the floors was really a downside. After receiving a confirmation from Booking.Com. I made a call to the numbers given on the message from the confirmation email, and when I called the numbers were not going through,i ended up driving to venue and when I got there I had to call again and that's when they sent me a link so that I can send my ID photo, Another R1000 which I was unaware of and my car registration. I asked about the cancelation and I was told it can only mean I will get my money after 3 weeks.

The keys were in a lockbox

The first bedroom had no headboard, the aircon was not working, kitchen no teabags, coffee etc, Lounge a filthy smelly couch, no aircon , Tv had no channels. 2 nd bedroom no headboard, ants galore even on the bed. The blinds don’t open . The bedding was pathetic and had stains , Don’t Ever Book Even For Free!!

It was not clean ,especially the bedding

I wish i can say much but the truth is i was scammed and even if there was something good about the place i am struggling to say. The host scammed me of my hard earned cash, please be careful people out there.

There is no housekeeping for inspection or an inspection sheet that i would have confirmed online / through WhatsApp with the owner so that i am not scammed like what i a experiencing today. Upon leaving i cleaned the property and took a videos for them. Now i am not getting my refund and they are making up stories. I have sent my complaint to booking.com and my lawyers pointing out the inconsistences as well ad the evidence that does not correspond. Please be aware that the host will even ask you for monies beyond the price arguing that the app has a wrong price. STAY HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK BECAUSE YOU WILL BE SCAMMED WITH PRICING AND REFUND.

The apartment was not very clean, the couch was filthy as well as the rugs in the lounge and bedroom. The bedding and towels was very old with stains and the bathroom extractor fan in bedroom 2 was not functioning, which causes the bedroom to be very humid. The table in the lounge is worn out, our stay was not comfortable. Tip: Take pictures of every broken item immediately you enter the place so that you don't get blamed for something that was already broken before you got there and have your "demage deposit" not returned back to you. Otherwise, the overall property is peaceful and has nice views
