Property Notes

No evening meals on Sundays Our pub's kitchen closes early on a Sunday and last orders for food are at approx. 3pm. If you have booked for Sunday we will be glad to facilitate an early check-in to accommodate for this. The Star Inn at Harbottle (3 min drive) is also an excellent alternative if you can't arrive early. Our pub is normally closed on Mondays and Tuesdays Please note that our pub/restaurant is closed on most Mondays (unless Monday is a Bank Holiday) and Tuesdays. The Star Inn will be open and we will help with transport if necessary.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Relaxing stay in clean comfortable accommodation with good food and welcoming hosts"

Friendly welcome by lovely hosts who did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. Set in beautiful countryside. Rooms were stylishly decorated and spotlessly clean. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast.

"Exceptional"

We booked impulsively last minute. We had to wait for check in because of this. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The dog was made to feel welcome and the pub next door has the most amazing staff and food. 100% we will be returning soon

Large, clean room with modern bathroom. Lovely beer garden with beautiful scenery. Peaceful location, great for walking and taking in the views. Friendly hosts, who provided a super breakfast with a choice of 3 types of breakfast and then in addition there was toast, cereal, fruit and juice.
