pleasant room,very clean and best of all it was quiet no noisy kids or folks. great location no noisy traffic. pleasant to go for a quiet walk about.view from the room was excellent. we stayed for 4 nights as we used this as our base to travel round.. shame that the pub was shut on mon/tuesdays but just up the road arbottle nice pub and grub. don't think you can walk it in 20 minutes though ,30 is doable(1.5miles). Susan was a very pleasant lady who cooked our breakfast.worth her weight in gold.

How far out it was

The location was wonderful. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and finished to a high standard. Good shower.

We were disappointed for the amount we paid not to have tea/coffee facilities in the room. There were refreshments in the communal room but that is not the same, especially early in the morning. We were a little surprised to have to order breakfast in advance and give a time. There aren’t many rooms so a shame not to be able to say what you fancy in the morning. We didn’t realise the B&B was a separate business from the pub. We were in a rush so admittedly didn’t read the ‘important information’ which was our fault. We turned up thinking we could eat dinner and have a drink at the pub but it was closed on Sunday evening and it is also closed on Monday and Tuesday. So not great we had to drive to the next village. This could be an issue if you have not got a car or just want to leave the car and relax and have a drink.

The location was perfect with lovely outdoor space and great views. The property was immaculate the room was comfortable and recently refurbished to a very high standard. Susan the host was amazing from the warm welcome to the fabulous breakfasts she prepared!
