excellent place to stay

The location is beautiful. The food in the pub was very good.

It should be made more evident that the Rose and Thistle pub is a completely different business to the Bed and Breakfast next door. On arrival we were told by the landlady of the pub that she had no idea where the b and b owner was, but she could message her, or I could call her myself. We then realised that three others were also waiting to check in.

The accommodation was excellent. Food was amazing. The staff could not do enough for you . Wonderful stay - lovely area.

Great location, welcoming hosts Fantastic pub next door

Fantastic B&B, lovely people, great breakfast. Location is simply stunning.

Only issue was the (associated) pub next door which we had hoped to eat in every night but is actually closed Monday Tuesday (and in our case, Wednesday for a charity function). Sunday lunch at the pub was one of the best I've ever had though. There is another pub serving food about 30 minutes walk across the fields.

Beautiful hidden gem in the countryside. Very friendly and accommodating staff in both the B and B and pub. Attention to detail, lovely breakfast. Personal service. Could not fault it! Would highly recommend.

Stunning views from the property, beautiful location, lovely sitting area with a log fire & really enjoyed breakfast. Thank you also to the owners for going the extra mile & assisting with preparing flowers in the room for Mothers Day, prior to check in.
