Gulmarg Woods By Stay Pattern

The owner refused to check us in citing directions by the department of tourism that they are not supposed to lodge anyone who is a local of the state. On demanding more explanations, they refused to comply and asked us to contact the directorate of tourism instead. If there are any restrictions, which there are not, as it would be illegal to deny adults of the same nationality but discriminating against them on basis of a certain ethnicity, that should have been clearly explained across all booking platforms. On asking them to cancel the booking, they kept haggling and said they would instead decline my credit card. I am not sure why they did that but for some reason they refused to cancel the booking from their side.

Room was good, nice view from Window/balcony.

Bath towels were really old and dirty.

Hands down, the best place to stay in Gulmarg. The views of the mountains are absolutely stunning. We booked a room with a balcony, and the scenery from there was breathtaking. It's only a 4-minute walk to the Gondola, which is incredibly convenient. The rooms are cozy, with central heating, heated beds, and hot water available at all times. All other amenities were top-notch. A must-stay if you're visiting Gulmarg!

There’s nothing I could fault about this place. Everything was perfect, and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Liked the location and hospitality of the staff. Food was also delicious. The highlight was the bed heater, which had the option of keeping head or foot warm with a low and a high setting.

Washroom can have a dry and wet area separated.
