House was immaculate, beds so comfortable and clean, beautiful decor, nice garden and kitchen full of things needed.

Great house and a huge hit with the kids and the air hockey table, which came in so handy as there was so much rain!

The house was very spacious, it was reasonably close to the town centre by car, and the host Zoe let us check-in 2.5 hrs early free of charge. Beds were very comfy and slept very well. The kitchen was well set up, almost all the utensils were available. Lots of activities at the house eg. air hockey, board games which was a plus. So much potential to become a perfect stay as a holiday home, instead of student accommodation as it's what it is right now.

Our booking was for 8 people, but unfortunately only 6 people had their beds made for them. I contacted the host about this situation (cleaning and maintenance is outsourced), she immediately contacted the cleaning team but nothing was done. The sofa bed was not made up to sleep in, there was a duvet and 4 pillows inside the couch ottoman for the sofa bed, but there weren't any sheets available so another he had to sleep on the couch with a throw. The house manual stated the hot water would come on automatically, well people had cold showers the day we arrived, the next day (my daughter's graduation) I had to call Zoe because there still wasn't any hot water and we had 2 hours to get ready. Zoe was brilliant she immediately gave me the code for the cupboard where the hot water tank was, so we could press the reset button. After that it took about 15 minutes to get the showers up and running. There weren't enough towels for everyone, we had just 1 hand towel in one bathroom, no hand towels to dry your hair with, and the shower towels were of poor quality and some were stained (dirty) and discoloured. Please provide clean and matching towels (not rendem ones) for each bedroom. The house was so dirty, the corredor wasn't even cleaned by the entrance, the windows were so dirty that they all need a proper clean. Finally, please take your own tea towels for the kitchen as the host said they don't offer it! Again no where to wipe your dishes.

The location, general layout and facilities were ideal for our needs. Zoe was particularly kind and understanding.

The heating is hard to control and is generally cold downstairs and very hot upstairs. One of the mattresses did not fit the bed at all and was difficult to use for this purpose over 3 nights. There was not an inventory check carried out prior to our stay so we had no tin opener and some other basic tools.
