Holiday Apartment In Old Town

The location was good .

I would recommend not to book this property with your family as it's very badly maintained . 1)The bed was broken inside the bedroom with a small bathroom and A flower bus underneath the bed was kept to the middle to take the load. It was so dangerous that we felt down in the middle of the night. 2) The bed sheet was not provided and only the mattress protector was there on the bed and it was so dirty in all the room 3) The second room did not have a proper mattress so it was difficult to sleep. 4) The curtains were not there for the window in the bedroom. 5) Inside doors are very poorly maintained most of the locks did not work.

Bed were broken, Bread toaster was not working properly every time we use toaster, MCB was breaking down

The photographs used to advertise this apartment were taken in a different property. There was no similarity! The apartment is in a very poor state of repair, particularly the bathrooms and kitchen. There was a bad smell of damp in the bathrooms, rusty radiators and holes in walls and doors. It was grim to say the least and extremely poor value for money. The host was initially difficult to make contact with, only providing check in details an hour before check in which was stressful. Then they were quite rude!

Excellent location,really easy to retrieve keys. Plenty of space for a large family.

The beds , mattress need to change in all the 3 beds.

We didn’t get the place as advertised on photo (modern bathroom and kitchen) and when questioned was advised that they own 3 properties in the building so others who were paying more got the advertised apartment so I imagine we got their worst one and they use the best one to advertise. When the host threatened to cancel and challenged us to find another place (overseas visitors at nite) he sent with laughing emojis which i didn’t appreciate. Location is good, value for money is good. Just the flat itself is is old, decrepit damaged throughout. Was uncomfortable sleeping arrangements with damaged beds and I found the host rude. In my opinion should get the apartment as advertised. I didn’t bother cancelling butI would caution future guests given my experience.

For a start the attitude of the owner was ridiculous. 4 times I tried to phone to see how we enter the property and he wouldn’t answer. We then tried to phone him from a different number and he answered straight away. After informing him we’ve been trying to get hold of him for 20 mins in the pouring rain he told us to wait till he parked his car and just hung the phone up. Bearing in mind we already pre arranged we’d be there between 1500 and 1600 - he didn’t answer his phone until 1615. The beds in the place are horrendous. You’d be as well sleeping on the floor because one of the rooms you pretty much were. The other two rooms the mattresses were extremely soft and could feel every spring. There wasn’t a curtain or blind in one of the rooms So we had to jam a towel over the window. The place looks like it gets a quick wipe down and not thoroughly cleaned either. Have a look behind the radiator in the main bathroom…. Just wow.
