Luxury City Apartment in JQuarter Birmingham

It was clean and had everything that was needed. Spacious living area and bedroom.

We didn't get there so can't say what was good or bad about the apartment but can comment on our experience to that point

The owners communicated well initially but hit us with a £350 deposit demand the day before the booking. As I didn't have that money available I asked to cancel. The owners said I could cancel but refused to refund ANY of the money! It was then I also noticed the most recent reviews about the state of the apartment. These were dire so realised even if the owners waived the deposit we couldn't stay somewhere like that. I chose to reduce the stay to 1 night in a cheap hotel and cut my losses and cancelled the booking anyway

It was easy to get the keys. Great location and great service due to a last minute booking. Check in instructions were provided.

It wasn't obvious where the car park was...but we got there in the end. Instructions were provided in the check in information.

This is a scammer be very careful to book. This property doesn’t not exist. Do not book and neither pay for the security deposit.

It’s clean it was everything was there fully cleaned and furnished 👊🏻👊🏻

To collect the keys was hard and deposit was little bit expensive other wise everything excellent 👌

I booked nearly 3 weeks in advance but only got a message the day before check-in asking for a £350 damage deposit by bank transfer. It’s mentioned in the legal policies section, but not made clear when booking. I would have expected this to be communicated much earlier. The host ignored my messages twice, then messaged the morning of my stay saying the deposit deadline had already passed and couldn’t be paid on arrival. They refused a refund, even though many reviews mention the same issue. When I said I’d escalate it, their reply completely missed the point. Booking.com also haven’t been helpful and just kept repeating the policy. I would not recommend this place, as the host doesn’t listen or communicate properly. I had to pay to stay in another hotel for the weekend last minute as I did not feel safe staying there, nor did I think I would receive my £350 back. I would not recommend this place and please read the other reviews and ensure you look over the policies if you do book because this will not be communicated to you efficiently.
