DEVery nice little house with good shower, cozy lighting, mosquito net, water kettle and even a hair dryer. Very friendly staff, tasty food with very big portions, no one has to go to bed hungry at this place! The safari we booked was also very good, informative and respectful towards the wild animals. We really enjoyed our stay!

DEBeautiful little clay house built by the owners themselves. The owners are incredibly helpful in organising trips and transport. On our last evening they even offered to cook dinner for us which was amazing. The room itself is very basic but clean. The bathroom has a very nice shower. There is no AC in the rooms but a very smartly placed fan above the bed to keep you nice and cool during the nights. The location of the place is a bit off the beaten track but therefore very nice and quiet.
I got nothing to complain about. Especially within this price category what you get for your money is more than amazing and enough.
DEOur stay at wild safari clay house was really just perfect. The clay house was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The whole house was built with so much love. Everything you need is there! The host was super nice and happy to help you with anything. He also arranged a Safari tour for us which was also perfect! Chamara, our driver, spoke really good English and happily shared his good knowledge about the different animals in the national park with us. He spotted different animals and was respectful towards them. The whole tour was so much fun! There is really nothing we would have wished for more during our stay at wild safari clay house.

GBCouldnât have picked somewhere better to stay in Udawalawe. The clay house was so nice and right the bed was comfortable. It is in a great location and without even leaving the house we saw herds of buffalo that would walk past in the evening, water monitors, and peacocks. Ravindu was an excellent host so kind and did everything to make sure we were as happy and comfortable as possible. Offered us tea every night which so we had rice and curry and tasted amazing, also offered breakfast everyday which was really good. If we ever come back will definitely stay here again.
The only downside was there was only one fan which was fine for us the but if it is abnormally hot outside it might struggle.
AUThe accommodation was really lovely, the shower was amazing, the owners were fantastic and the food they cooked us was delicious! They also organised a safari tour for us which was such an incredible experience.
