The Presidential Inn at Poland Spring Resort

Very clean, comfortable beds.

A bit of a drive to OOB, Portland. No microwave in room.

The bed was comfy, room was clean, bathroom was spotless and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The lock and twist doorknob had to both be turned at the same time making it hard to open the door while carrying bags

Mostly liked the Presidential Inn we stayed in. The museums were great and the grounds were beautiful. The staff was friendly,

Our bathroom had a narrow hallway like thing with the toilet at the very end and a column right beside it. We only had one little bar of soap for 2 adults. The toilet made a horrible whistling noise when we flushed it. The thing I disliked most was the breakfast. They only had sasuage and no bacon and no pancakes or waffles, only hot toast you had to make. The biscuits were cold with no way to warm up. The coffee was so strong you could hardly drink it.

Pleasant charm. Beautiful historic building. 2 museums on property along with golf and swimming pool. Will definitely return to this site.

For the cost, it was pretty plain. You had to buy a ticket for breakfast.
