Breakfast was fine. Bed was very comfortable

Rooms Older than expected. Door didn't fit well. Noone around in our bldg. Needed to travel up to the other bldg if we needed anything.

Gorgeous property, very historical, swimming pool is amazing

Didn't get the breakfast but did eat at the Hilltop Restaurant for dinner. enjoyed the entertainment and the food was good. The golf course was in ok shape due to the weather and staff was friendly and accommodating.

The rooms are clean but antiquated. Blinds didn't work well and there were no bureaus to put clothes in. Also, there was no place in the bathroom to put toothbrushes, toothpaste, and shaving items. It was quiet at night however.

Hotel was charming and full of history. Clean rooms inside and grounds were beautifully maintained. Breakfast was not included with our booking, although I thought I was told it was, I need to check on that. Buffet was hot, continously replenished and well attended. We would stay here again in the future.

We arrived late and left early, hard to analyze fairly.

Beautiful setting. Lovely vistas from porches with Adirondack chairs and Rocker. Good sandwiches at Mel’s.

The staff seemed I’ll trained. We asked to get into our room early because checkin is at 3:30, but we were due at a wedding at the same time. They could have asked the cleaners to clean our room first but that didn’t happen. The two young women at the cafe were overwhelmed, either management does train well or doesn’t pay for adequate staffing. The check-in process was in one building but we were staying in another building across the campus. The whole places needs upgrading. The room was large but bed was terrible. One tiny box of tissues that was Almost empty.
