The owner was very helpful and accommodating and provided with a lot of extras such as a safe,slippers and robe.

The host was very welcoming - he informed us about the most important attractions and public transport. The place was provided with all everyday supplies needed (and drinks). The bathroom was very nice. The room was cleaned everyday.

We chose to stay on mainland and this property was very easy to reach from the airport (No 15 bus - buy ticket on board) and a 5 minute walk from the nearest bus stop. Also it was a very convenient location for travelling into Venice proper and initially we paid our fare on bus by using our bank card which was very easy and convenient! Our bedroom was a good size and the bathroom we used across the hallway was very large and modern with great shower pressure. Altho there is a kitchen available for guests (the owners don't live in the building) we didn't use it orther than for making a hot drink. We had breakfast one morning in the cafe across the main street and picked up some snacks from the close by supermarket. The area was very quiet at night.

The only downside was the comfort of the beds ( only the twin bedded room with bathroom across the hallway was available at time of booking) Unfortunately we found the mattresses particularly hard and so didn't sleep as well as we would have liked. Such a pity as our days were busy with a lot of walking involved. Other than that the property was probably what to expect when sharing with other guests - who were mindful and quiet - and we didn't see them.

Everything was brilliant! The hotel was very comfortable and cozy. The hosts were extremely kind and supportive. Massimo explained various things about Venice and gave us recommendations. Our room and bathroom were clean and had air conditioning, a fridge, a coffee maker, etc. The shared kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, and guests could use the microwave and oven. There was also a small garden. It was very easy to get to Venice from the hotel by the 4L bus, and there were lots of supermarkets and cafes nearby where the food was less expensive than in Venice. I recommend this hotel to everyone!

The host was very friendly. The place is much nicer than the pictures. Awesome value for money. 5mins walk to the bus station.

The neighbourhood feels a little dodgy and I felt unsafe walking at night on my own as a girl

Good local restaurants and a little quiet after spending the day in bustling Venice. The property was very clean and even had a kitchen which was nice to be able to use after traveling and eating out for so many days. Walter did his best to make us feel welcome when we arrived

On Saturday night we could hear the local bar playing music to 1am but it was quiet afterwards and also we didn’t hear it again on the following nights.
