"To Bath or not to Bath"

Friendly staff, location very central,

Bed was uncomfortable, pillows flat and no support. Shower head full of limescale, shower head connection broken water spraying out, bath was tiny, rather have a single shower, chair in room had not been cleaned, was dirty and had not been vacuumed,

"A charming place in Bath"

Beautiful Georgian era building, historic street, close to Pulteney bridge and all the attractions. Staff were excellent. Lovely stay

My shower was tiny, and the door was not in good condition. The room was hot.

"Great location for exploring Bath by foot."

Interesting building, beautiful rooms, great staff.

Our room was down a flight of stairs, but they were so kind and insisted on bringing our bags down for us. There is no parking on site.

"Lovely stay in Bath"

Lovely welcome by a younger staff member, she was so helpful and polite. Breakfast was delicious and plenty to choose from. Charismatic old town house. Good location not far from the centre.

The beds. Too soft, and the pillows were non-existent. It was slightly stuffy in the room despite the window being wide open.

"Good but too expensive for what you get"

It is a quint hotel. Breakfast has a menu, which is great. The location is close to the centre, easy to walk.

We were 3 people in a room, and paid about £330 for one night - so I expected it to be top-notch. I knew my bed would be a sofa bed, but the mattress was way too thin, basically a topper - which I feel was basically unacceptable at this price point. I would have also expected more options in the breakfast buffet - e.g. fresh fruits and pasteries. I would have no complaints if it was cheaper - for around £200 I'd have rated this 10/10; but at it's current rate it's just too pricy for what you get...

Booking.com had it listed as having parking. But it doesn’t which was quite annoying.
