The single room is not up to the same standard as the double rooms. Single room feels like a basic box room.

Location excellent. Breakfast staff very pleasant. Breakfast very good. Dining room was very pleasant.

Room was very small. Quite a few marks on the carpet. Mark on ceiling which could have been painted. Shower could do with some attention It was not pristine. Went for it for parking but found out after booking that it was in a nearby car park at an extra cost. After booking, was informed that there would be a service charge added to the cost of the room. Would be good to know about these extra charges before the booking.

The staff at the Windsor are exceptional. We were able to leave our luggage in the main lobby as we arrived a bit early, and they were nice enough to take our luggage to our room while we were out and about.

There are no "lifts" or elevators at this hotel, so it may be difficult for some to tote their luggage up (or down) the stairs.

Top floor room no lift. Booked because had bar always shut. Doesn’t seem to have staff working there more than a couple of hrs. Hot water terrible in shower. Service at breakfast took forever. Unimpressed.

It’s a beautiful townhouse and just what you’d expect to see in a city like Bath. Huge entrance with period features, tiled floor on entry and a lovely staircase. The dining room for breakfast is beautiful and again very befitting for the property, the staff are all lovely and the breakfasts are excellent. Located only a few minutes walk into the city and 5 to 10 mins walk from the nearest 24 hour car park.

The rooms (or the one we stayed in) are tired and in need of tlc. The paint was peeling from the walls and shutters, the paint on the walls was grubby and damaged in places where furniture had been moved around as was the carpet in areas. The bathroom again was tired, the tap never stopped dripping throughout, the wallpaper was peeling and the sealer was black around the bath edges. I imagine when the room was freshly decorated it looked great, however I imagine it was some time ago. There’s also a tiny detail like the kettle that’s provided, the kettle doesn’t remove from a dock so it constantly has the wire connected, yet the wire is too short to reach the plug socket from the dresser so you’re boiling the water on the floor? It has a great location and looks great on pictures but it’s in need of a freshen up.
