Reception staff, breakfast staff all very polite and welcoming the lady taking our breakfast orders was seen to be hard working, polite and so sweet to us. Breakfast very good, high quality produce and coffee was good quality to. Bed comfortable and linen clean, pillows possibly need a replacement, felt a little flat but clean. Location literally 5 mins walk to main attractions, shops, bars etc. Beautiful town house, decorated well with some lovely original features. You do not have a Reception service after 4pm if my memory serves me, but you have key to scan and a code for access into the main door. Very easy to use, it's like your left to your own devices, there is a phone number if you have any queries, during your stay where Reception is not manned. Easy!

A stale damp smell as you approach the room and slight smell as you open the room door, it's an old town house and we were down in the lower ground basement, the bathroom was extremely small and not a.lot of room to get dry and changed in etc. Also bin liners were not the right size for the waste bins,.small etc. There was quite a lot of dust on the carpet and skirting board and dirt along the shower screen..which was obvious to the eye the toilet brush needed replacing. Little simple things that could be easily fixed to ensure a better customer stay, lovely bits of old furniture that suited the style of thr property but could definitely do with a deep clean to the room we stayed in, the carpet looked tired and just needed a good freshen up of the room. Possibly, to help with a little more comfort an armchair instead of the two hard chairs, although your not in the room long, one of our days weather wasnt good and we decided to stay in the room until the rain calmed down, there was no comfort sitting on the hard chairs, just a thought an armchair might suit the room better and offer more comfort for the guests etc. It was still a nice stay for the few days we needed, it was the staff that delivered great customer focus, proffesional and so polite..if I had raised about the toilet brush, I am sure they would have addressed it. We asked for clean towels, on our 2nd day they were provided no issue.

Described as 5 star luxury. This is NOT true. Bathroom was dirty, decoration very tired, aircon wouldn’t blow over a feather, kettle so small and cheap the lead permanently attached (only just reached the electric socket), water supplied in an open bottle (not lid or cover) so we didn’t use, fridge didn’t work.

Beautiful Georgian property with lovely staircase and antique furniture.

We had asked for a triple room with three single beds. We had two singles joined together and a pullout sofa bed which creaked every time I moved which made it difficult to get up during the night without disturbing my friends. We also had to ask for towels as there were none in the room.

The room was beautiful and comfortable and the little garden was lovely. The bathroom was nice and big and the shower pressure was amazing!

The hot water was not working on the last night of our stay. We didn’t have much communication about this from staff and the only access to the boiler was through our room. We had some plumbers/tradesman arrive at our door to access this but we were not advised previously and were just leaving for a night out so ended up having strangers go through our room without us there as we hadn’t been able to plan for it.

Really friendly staff, clean & comfortable room. Great central location. Breakfast was lovely. Highly recommend

There wasn't anything we didn't like. Lovely stay.

The location and building are stunning. My room was on the top floor which took a bit of effort to get to in this recent heatwave. Decor is nice but could do with being updated. That said it’s a beautiful place, the staff are superb and the breakfast was exceptional
