Best location, and recently renovated

Location, size and comfort

We loved the location of the property. We could walk to the beach and enjoy. The space was perfect for our group of six. It had everything we needed. Thank you! We loved our visit to the North Shore.

We booked this apartment for its location. There was plenty of space for our two families and the beds were comfortable. Also, they were very responsive to messages.

The apartment needs some updating. It listed two bathrooms but it’s really only 1.5 bathrooms. There is a rinse off shower outside so not sure if they were counting that as the second shower. Also there were ants when we arrived. Oahu and especially the North Shore had just been hit by a big storm so maybe the ant problem was just related to all the recent flooding.

The property stills requires further updating and renovation. It was in a good location for our trip.

As above, I had to fix the toilet, the security to the property is very poor, the back door lock can just be pulled out. Perspex above A/C unit instead of glass. We were at the property during the recent floods, very scary, none of my messages or emails to staff or owner have been answered, thankfully the fire rescue people gave advice. We left when the flood water receded the next day. Can’t believe they have not been in touch. Only stayed 2 out of 4 nights.

Great location, spacious, plenty of room for 5 people. Could walk to all the well known breaks and over the road to food trucks. Loved our stay. Beds very comfy and great water pressure. Would recommend for a fun relaxing stay.

Location: The house is within walking distance from sharks cove, sunset beach, and a Foodland grocery store. Haliewa is a 10-15 min drive away which we loved for getting food and shaved ice. Also parking at the house was a huge plus. Amenities: The home is stocked with thoughtful amenities. Beach towels were stocked in the living room and other beach gear was outside (we didn’t end up using the gear, so I’m not sure how good it is.) there’s also a shower right outside for rinsing off any sand after the beach. Lots of amenities in the kitchen for making meals as well. The washer and dryer were also so convenient, and detergent was provided. Air conditioning in the evening helped keep the space comfortable, and the porch was a nice place to relax.

Layout: The listing says there are 2 king beds and 2 queen beds, but it felt more like 1 true king sized bed and 3 queens. Also, the only way to access the pull-out bed from the main living area is by walking through the king bedroom, which could be inconvenient depending on the group. There are 2 bathrooms, but only 1 shower, so just make sure you plan accordingly. Other random things to be aware of: -The property was harder to find than expected, despite directions saying it was easy to locate. (I did reach out to the owner and someone called almost immediately to help us find it though so that was great service.) -Water filter on the fridge needed to be switched out. -The washer had issues on one of our loads. We did a delicate cold cycle and it finished with steaming hot water, leaving clothes very wet. -The car clicker for the front gate was finicky and unreliable. Sometimes you have to get out of the car to put in the code. -On the sixth night, one of the main bedroom ceiling light stopped working, even though the lamps in that room still worked. Not a big deal, but something to note. -Found a gecko in the house which probably helped keep bugs away. Also not a big deal, but something to keep in mind if you don’t want to be sold car insurance

The location was good for activities that we planned.

Your "newly renovated" was obviously done on a minimal scale. Need a bug exterminator.
