Chic Retreat in Downtown St Augustine

My dates were Dec 6-8, I got there on Saturday Dec 6th 2025 at 3:10 pm and left at 3:18 pm. It was horrible, Rodent droppings in kitchen under counter, holes under sink, and gaps on top of back of kitchen counter, furniture was horrible, both indoor and outdoor, nails exposed in inside kitchen window, and outside window was loose with gap in top. It was a mess, I even looked inside the hot water tank closet, it was damp and dirty. A cleaning crew (2people) was just walking in as I pulled up, oh and there was absolutely no parking. There were 2 other vehicles there from neighboring homes, who apparently Airbnb too. Huge disappointment, and a waste of my time. It Was so bad!!

Everything was fantastic. Easy to get to. Location wasn’t far from the places we wanted to visit. Clean. Beds were comfy! Water was hot!!!! Exactly what I was looking for!! Communication was seamless!!

The property was very cozy. It was, also, very close to the attractions and shops.

The mattresses were very hard, so we could not sleep comfortably.

Location was great, street is very quiet loved that house was clean and comfortable outside needs a lot of tlc, power washing whole exterior would of made hanging on back porch more enjoyable...

Safety issues in bathrooms: no nonskid mats and no grab bars for the low bathtub. We stayed during thanksgiving so we cooked but there were no casserole dishes, spatulas. Dish towels were not available. They are easy to wash instead we used excess paper towels not environmentally good. would be nice to add a full mirror to the front bedroom had to go in sisters room for dress check. Owner was out of country and wasnt offered a number or who to call locally to find remote for front bedroom tv so went all week without the ability to watch tv from my room. Thanksgiving

Loved the location. Inside furniture was great with a distinct retro feel.

No kettle. Few wine glasses. Poor condition of the timber floor on the porch.

Location was ideal as it's a 15 minute walk to main town and 5 minutes to the winery and distillery. Facilities were very clean and parking was just out front.

Window locks are broken and/or don't work which made it feel unsafe. Also the curtains in the front bedroom and living room are see through with no blinds so anyone walking or driving by can see right nin. The only room with black out curtains was the master which was nice but hard to sleep in the other room as the sun rises very early in November and the curtains don't block any light. Was also surprised when we paid the cleaning fee which was $250 when it's $180 on AirBNB. Definitely feels like the owner is trying to market discounts and then cover the discounted price through the increased cleaning fee. Also, expected with the high fee to not have to take the trash out, or trip the beds but that was expected when leaving.

Cozy and warm house in the Lincolnville neighborhood, within driving distance of everything in St. Augustine and walkable to some popular bars and restaurants nearby. Super comfy beds, towels, and linens and everything you need to cook meals at home. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a cozy respite in the St. Augustine area. Ashish was a dream to work with and was very kind and accommodating.☺️
