Only half the rooms had hot water.

Beautiful lodge with all you need to enjoy a peaceful and private little getaway. Pool & jaccuzzi were clean. House was kitted out with swimmign towels, cutlery and braai equipment. Had Kudu at our doorstep in the morning and very peaceful at night. Will definitely be back again with friends or family.

This was a very disappointing stay. The showers leak extensively and we had to use our towels to dry it. The one pool lounger was torn. Overall maintenance is lacking - it's evident in the electrical wiring of the house. There is mould in the showers. The things I am complaining about was raised numerous times on previous reviews to the host - but it's clear nothing gets taken seriously. The condition of the house does not justify the money spent. Kitchen is shocking - see pictures attached. Appliances are old and discovered a very bad condition in the cupboards. This could pose a health risk. The oven door does not work at all. The gasbraai is broken with only one leg - it gets balanced on a brick. Condition of outside braai is shocking - we didn't want to use it. Bedding gets put into cupboards - not even neatly folded. I requested that the host meet me at the facility to discuss - unfortunately no response to this. I would not recommend staying here at all. The photographs are not a true reflection of what the property offers and definitely not worth the price. The stairs to the upstairs bedrooms are NOT child friendly. All the dust of the thatch roof is on the beds due to the close proximity of the beds to the roof. The roof was leaking in the main TV area - dripping on the couches.

Bedrooms & bathrooms are spacious & comfortable. All 4 have air-conditioning & smart TV (own sign-in required for streaming services). Wifi was available throughout the entire house and outside. Living room & kitchen also has air-conditioning. Lots of inside & outside seating & tables. Pool & jacuzzi were lovely Loved the fact that the swimming pool, Jacquzzi and braai area were all in close vicinity. Everything (except the balcony & pool table) is on the ground level, so there is no need to climb any stairs, which is nice. Back-up power is available

The house could be cleaned more thoroughly, the kitchen cupboard under the sink is in terrible condition and no cupboard space to store groceries/Food. The showers didn't drain the water so the entire bathrooms were under water when someone showered. Room 4 - The bath plug leaks so the water all drains before you can even finish your bath. Rooms 3 & 4 - The bedside lamps were not working, the bedside tables is also not in the best shape anymore. The pool loungers because of the sun were brittle and 1 actually broke during our stay The discription says no capacity for cots but instead it could have been mentioned that there is enough rooms space for guest to bring own cots. Swimming pool is not covered which is a safety problem for guests with small children All around the house could be better maintained and looked after as it has endless potential.
