The Penthouse at Mercers Croft

It was spacious and good decor. However, the room was too near the main street, at 5.30am we has cars going up and down, followed by roard sweepers at 7.05am. Windows requires upgrades to double full glazing if you want to keep trade up in your property..

Great facilities in the apartment. Coffee, tea, lots of towels was lovely. The location in the middle of town was fabulous. However this also brought a downside as the apartment only has single glazing and early morning (6am) deliveries and bin emptying for the shops underneath the bedroom window.

Issue with showers only one was fixed. Found someone else’s dirty washing in the washing machine and in the cupboard. Big cobwebs on architrave in lounge.

Excellent location in the centre of the town. The apartment was beautifully furnished and clean. The agency we booked through were super helpful and quick to respond to questions.

Location and the finish of the flat were both great Plenty of tea and coffee which was good

We did not have hot water in one of the showers throughout the trip, meaning we all had to share one shower, extending the time before we could leave in the mornings. This was incredibly annoying and inconvenient Beds were not very comfy

Wonderfully central position; the apartment contained everything needed (it’s so central that no cooking is needed, though facilities for that looked good too); lots of space inside.

Some small glitches inside but nothing that needed immediate attention: we told Alex, the contact for whom we had a phone number and had a very speedy reply. The only thing we thought could be improved were neglect and untidiness in a wardrobe cupboard and similar round a corner outside. Both can be cleared quickly, I would think - and maybe wouldn’t bother other people at all!

Main shower water temperature hot couldn't get it cooler. Maybe I didn't understand how. Bed a bit soft
