Station Cottage Dinnet, Aboyne

Very welcoming and all the facilities a family needs. Cosy, comfortable and clean. Great value. Definitely would recommend and book again.

Lovely accommodation which blended modern touches with traditional cottage setting really well. It’s a stunning setting with helpful and attentive management.

The accommodation is perhaps better termed ‘dog tolerant’ than ‘dog friendly’ and missed touches such as treats or a water bowl we’ve experienced at other properties that would’ve been a nice touch. Whilst we brought our own provisions, we felt this was missing. We found the living room furniture a bit small and couldn’t get truly comfortable over extended periods.

Everything in the cottage was lovely and clean with plenty of of space . We can’t comment on cooking facilities as we ate out each day . Beds and bedding great , shower fab , lovely and clean .

The only negative and it’s a big negative is the seating in the lounge. After travelling for hours or walking on the hills all you want a nice comfortable seat when you get back to the cottage , the seating is so uncomfortable and tiny it really does need replacing with something a lot more comfortable. We are glad we only stayed 2x days as don’t think we could have suffered the seating any longer . Such a shame as this is the only thing negative about this place and so easily rectified . We did see similar reviews about the seating but didn’t think it would be that bad but sadly it was .

Mooi huis, centrale ligging t.a.v. omgeving. Sleuteloverdracht goed geregeld. Vlotte communicatie.

Huis staat op ruime afstand van doorgaande weg, wel verkeer geluid maar niet hinderlijk.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in einer netten Umgebung.

Keinerlei direkter Kontakt zu Vermietern, das war ein bisschen komisch. Aber alles war gut vorbereitet, darum am Ende kein Problem.

De locatie is zeer centraal gelegen voor zowel bergwandelen als low level walk. Het huis is ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Zou alleen iets meer keukenuitrusting aanwezig mogen zijn. Met name pannen en servies/bestek. Supermarkten op binnen 10 auto minuten. Prachtige wandeling langs loch kinord start Praktisch voor de deur.
