Station Cottage Dinnet, Aboyne

Good location for a cycle break at Tarland (5 miles away). The kitchen is very well kitted out with good kitchen utensils, fridge with small freezer compartment, Nespresso coffee machine. Everything we need to cook etc. Possibly more glasses in the kitchen might be an idea. The sofa chairs and beds were very comfortable. Good bathroom with plenty of hot water We would definitely stay here in the future if over in Aberdeenshire for a short break. Very high standard of fittings throughout the property.

Bottle of washing up liquid in kitchen would have been handy.

We had a lovely stay at Station Cottage. It was spotlessly clean and very characterful. We were also pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. I'm sure we will return again.

A few more mugs and glasses would be useful, but otherwise, well equipped.

Loved it the minute I saw it.bed was so comfy, bathroom was good but I didn't realise when I booked it that it wasn't a separate shower, my fault ! It was extremely clean throughout, nice though having teabags and sugar waiting, which my husband loved !!

The downfall was the chairs and sofa, were very not comfortable at all. Changing that would give it a 10 out of 10 !!

Location excellent and the property was lovely

Sofas and chairs in lounge very uncomfortable and shallow. Despite it being near Tarlands, there was nowhere to store our bike so had to put it in the very compact kitchen.

All rooms were a good size for such a small house
