Station Cottage Dinnet, Aboyne

Beautiful quiet location, with easy access to cycle routes and the river and loch within easy walking distance. A short drive to local towns for shops. The property itself was beautiful and very picturesque. A large garden space to enjoy, with outdoor seating. Jacuzzi bath and underfloor heating in the bathroom were also very much appreciated.

A small grumble, but the driveway gate could be made easier to close from the outside. The only way to do this at the moment when leaving the property is for someone to close from the inside then go out via the small gate and come round to get into the car. A little cutout big enough for your wrist to go through, and/or some means of the ground bolts staying up would enable this to be done more easily by one person.

Great location, ideal for walking, cycling. Cottage was clean tidy and all home comforts available, good sized garden for sitting out along with BBQ area. Nice and quiet.

Comfortable beds, and well equipped kitchen

There is no dining place. A table is folded up in the corner of the living and chairs in the 2 bedrooms but not really any place to put them. So having diner breakfast play a game together is a challenge. For us so much more important then this massive television in the corner

Well maintained cottage, plus points were the location, beds, bath,log fire and gardens. Kitchen is well equiped and nice tough with the nespresso coffee machine that came in handy in the morning. Would book this cottage again.

The cottage was clean and comfortable. The facilities were very good and the location was beautiful.

King size bed was super comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and modern.

Very small and uncomfortable arm chairs and a tiny ‘sofa’. Would benefit from better lunge furniture. Aldo more wood for the log burner should be supplied and you shouldn’t have to buy any. There was 1 small basket 🧺 f about 4 logs. Water water was hit and miss in the bath and shower. It seemed to run out after about 5mins.

Garden was great for the dogs. Bed very comfortable. Nice little house, very clean. Good shower in bathroom. Nice log burner

Extremely cold on arrival, would have been nice for the heating to be on a timer, even on low. Sofa/chairs in lounge very small and not particularly comfortable.
