Character Cottage In West Burton, Wensleydale

A lovely cottage in a good location.

Nowhere to sit at a permanent table and enjoy meals. There is portable table with chairs under it. This is heavy to move about and there is not really adequate space for it.

Ölgeruch von der Heizung, es wurde nochmal geputzt nachdem wir das Cottage staubig vorgefunden haben. Die Vermieter haben sofort reagiert und dann war es sehr sauber.

The property was very clean and had been thoughtfully renovated to a very high standard. The bed was super comfy with beautiful quality linen. The cottage was generously equipped especially with those everyday household items which you often forget to pack. There`s plenty of road parking in the village but providing you park very close to the cottage so as not to restrict access, we were always able to park right outside. Our hosts, Lucy and Gareth responded immediately to any queries we had. The location was perfect for walking and exploring the Northern Dales and the Cauldron waterfall is just a 5 minute walk away. The local pub serves a delicious varied menu and the local residents were so friendly and ready to chat. We loved it and will definately return.

The Cottage was well kept and well equipt a fine example of a traditional dales cottage set in the beautiful village of West Burton. An ideal base to explore the yorkshire dales.
