The location. Nice place Birkdale. Right next to the train station too.

Nothing.

It’s a lovely big apartment with a lot of potential. It’s decorated well and within walking distance of shops, pubs, beach and train station. It has a full kitchen and big living room. It’s very spacious. The staff at the tea rooms and The little bear (below) were very friendly and helpful.

The shower water was either freezing or boiling (actual steam from the shower!) there was no in between. We had water pouring out from a light fixture in the evening, tried to contact the owner by message on here, phone and text and no response until 14 hours later. Sent a video to them and was told they didn’t have access to the apartment above? Not really helpful. We were given no prior notice about the loud music that would be playing until 3am from the pub below (as you can hear from my video). There were lots of lights that didn’t work, only one worked in the living room, 1 out of 4 worked in the bathroom leaving it very dark, and 3 out of 6 worked in the kitchen. When we told the owner we got a ‘thanks for the update’, no apology or ‘we didn’t know’. Overall, if these little things were sorted we would stay again.

Good value for money.

Very noisy so not ideal if you’re staying with children at the weekends. The internet was bad to non existent for the duration of my stay.

Cleanliness wasn't great Very dated Wardrobe full to brim of different towels. Wasn't sure who's they where. Children had difficulty turning off bathroom tap. Wasn't stuck to sink

Has all amenities, sleeps at least 5, welcoming staff and easy check in, clean. Looks over an outdoor pub area so noisy at night, still slept well though. Would suit a group who are on a night out. Well located in central Birkdale, close to the station

Proximity to local amenities

No Wi-Fi codes provide worked, and so had No TV as had to put Wi-Fi code in to use. Although apartment was sound proofed you could still hear a lot of noise from the windows, birkers night club till early hours.

It was clean and tidy but my god the noise is something else till 2 o'clock it went on till not suitable for small children.
