The Little Bear Apartment Birkdale Village

The location is excellent, the rooms were a good size.

Nothing, it was all fine.

Location within the town was good.

Apartment situated on top of a nightclub that is open until 1am on a Saturday. How this accommodation can even be listed on booking.com is outrageous. More of a run down student accommodation than a holiday let. No proper curtains in rooms. Paint peeling off walls. Damp/mould patches. Unclean smell. Only 60% of the lightbulbs worked. Stains on walls and carpets. We checked out about 5 hours after arriving. We were a family of 5, including a 2 and 4 year old. It was unsuitable for anyone, never mind a young family.

It was clean and a good location for the station and restaurants.

Very noisy until 2pm with music and people . No curtains so rooms too light. No toiletries provided in the bathroom and no milk in the kitchen. TV in lounge we couldn’t get to work.

Spacious flat with plenty of room for guests.

Directly above an extremely loud bar. We were there on a Friday night when there was a DJ on till 1am. The music was so loud in the flat it was unbearable. The noise from people drinking in the bar was also very loud. Great if you’re going on a night out there but if you’re booking for a family I would avoid.

Was near the train station

Live music was so loud from bar underneath and karaoke we left and didn't stay the night floor was vibrating!
